Ruth Bower

Ruth has more than ten years experience as JDW’s Librarian. Her teaching experience has helped her develop excellent organizational skills, the ability to see the big picture, and the capacity to attend to the finer details. Ruth maintains JDW’s project file and reference libraries. Materials collected include project reports and memoranda. JDW also acquires government and agency reports, monographs, maps, and newspapers. Ruth categorizes, organizes, and shelves all these, and keeps track of them as well, maintaining the integrity of the JDW electronic and paper catalogues. She also assists staff in locating needed items. Ruth orients new employees so that they know what information is available and how to locate it independently.
