As a senior scientist with JDW, Ed manages and assists JDW projects that involve wetland delineation, wetland inventory, riparian and natural resources assessment, wetland removal-fill permitting, wetland mitigation design, rare plant surveying, wetland mitigation monitoring, groundwater monitoring, and watershed analysis. Ed provides project oversight, data collection and analysis, wetland permitting, botanical species identification, mitigation design and monitoring, technical report writing, client communication and marketing, and coordination with local, state, and federal agencies. Ed’s consulting experience and background in natural resources management and environmental sciences include ecology, soil science, and geology. He has been involved in large and small multi-disciplinary, multi-corporate design and construction projects in both the public and private sectors.
